Michael Donohue Sr. "Iron Mike" lifelong Antigo resident died Monday June 11, 2007 at Evergreen Terrace. He was 82 years old. Born in Antigo on May 23, 1925 to Dennis and Margaret (Koehane) Donohue, he married Jane Walk on January 28, 1947 at St. John Catholic Church, she survives. He attended St. John Parochial school and graduated from Antigo High School in 1944. He served with the United States Navy from 1943 - 1946. As a navy radar technician he was stationed at Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts and attained the rank of petty officer second class. Mr. Donohue was an engineer working for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for forty years. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hunting.

Jane (Jerry) Brickner of Wausau
Two sons Michael Jr. (LiVanne) Donohue of Antigo
Thomas (Brenda) Donohue of Ladysmith
Ten grandchildren Shayne and Shaun Donohue, Shannon (Heath) Peters, Jeff (Jill) Joyce, Lynn (Eric) Lang, Alanna (Ed) Dahms, Neil (Jena) Donohue, Rory (Autumn) Donohue, Janessa Brickner and Jerry Brickner IV.
Four great grandchildren Brooke Peters, Alexa Lang, Douglas Dahms and Jaxen Donohue.
One brother Thomas Donohue of Antigo

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Mary Agnes Donohue and Margaret VandeHey.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. Antigo Veterans will conduct military rites on following services at the church.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
