Odile Jenny Follstad, age 103, of Elcho died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at her home in the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice. Born April 2, 1904 in March Rapids, WI, she is the daughter of the late George and Mary (Amo) Teeters.
Odile graduated from Park Falls High School in 1922 and was employed in the office of the Roddis Lumber and Veneer Mill. In 1925 she moved to Elcho were she worked as a secretary for the Fish Lumber Company and met her future husband Wadel R. Follstad.
Odile and Wadel were married on August 12, 1930 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Park Falls. He preceded her in death on June 23, 1980.
Mrs Follstad is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho and a past member of the Ladies of Holy Family Church. She is a Gold Star Mother.
In 1936, after the death of Julius and Mathea Follstad, Mr. Follstad's parents, she and her husband took over the operation of the family dairy farm until 1959. From 1957 to 1961 Mrs. Follstad worked at the State Bank of Elcho. She enjoyed many years of quality retirement.

Robert (Lorraine) Teeters, Baltimore, MD

24 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren.

Mrs. Follstad was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Navy Seaman James A. Follstad, three brothers Leo, Orville, and Bernard Teeters and two sisters Bernice Johnson and Laura Mae Cavillier

Funeral Services will be held June 1, 2007, Friday, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Elcho. Rev Roger Strebel will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be held in Holy Family Cemetery, Elcho. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
