Forris Schimelfining 88 of Antigo died Monday January 8, 2007 at Langlade Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1918 in Goodrich, North Dakota to Edward and Olga (Siffko) Schimelfining. He farmed in North Dakota and moved to Deerbrook in 1950 where he continued farming until 1973. Mr. Schimelfining moved to Antigo and continued working at area potato farms, and in construction. On August 5, 1985 he married Martha (Spychalla) Wisniewski in Antigo, she survives. He enjoyed polka music and played the accordion in his band the Jolly Musicians. An avid gardener he enjoyed his time spent outdoors.

Survivors include his wife and one sister Sylvia (Dr. Keith) Roys of Torrance, CA.

Five step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren
Preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Mary and Hyacinth Catholic Church, Rev. Jeremiah Worman will officiate. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:30 - 7:00 pm at the Bradley Funeral Home and on Friday
from 9:30 - 10:30 am. Parish wake service will be held 4:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.

Services
