Dale A. Dahms, of Antigo, died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 76 years old. He was born on May 21, 1941, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Leonard and Cecelia (Krueger) Dahms. He married Beatrice Burg, the couple later divorced. He married Maggie (Jacks) Moermond on February 14, 1981, she preceded him in death in 2014.
Mr. Dahms moved to the Antigo Area in 1973. He was a mechanic at Dewey Johnson Chevrolet in Antigo for 10 years and was a private investigator for 10 years retiring in 2004.
Dale volunteered by taking veterans to doctor appointments and enjoyed fishing, hunting and trap shooting.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Steve) Waters of Black Creek and Danna Gabriel (Ryan Mastenbrook) of Antigo; two sons, Donald (Tammy) Dahms of Antigo and David (Krissy) Dahms of Phlox; two step daughters, Marcia Moermond of St. Paul, MN and Barbara Moermond of Madison; a step son, James (Deborah) Moermond, III of Weston; grandchildren, Marcie, Michael, Madeline, Riley, Allie, Cody, Cooper, Lucy, Madison, Ayden, Tate and Taylor; two sisters, Mary (Mike) Fay of Menomonee Falls and Virginia (Robert) Wierman of Chippewa Falls; and a brother, Robert (Judy) Dahms of Pickerel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie; a brother, Leonard Dahms and a sister, Lois (Julius) Pfaff.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Deacon Tom Hartman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family asks that Memorials be made to the Langlade County Humame Society or the Semper Fi Fund.

Knew Dale since childhood,reconnected at a grade school reunion, where I Also met his lovely wife Maggie,who he missed so much.
