My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time. I just want to share a scripture that strengthened me during my most difficult times and hope it does the same for you; Isaiah 41:10: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness." So draw close to God in earnest prayer and he will draw close to you to take care of you.

I remember meeting Ken for the first time in 1981 or so. I asked him for his permission to marry his daughter, Connie. Can't really remember who was more nervous, but he said "sure". Best decision both of us ever made. Ken taught me how to ice fish, snow mobile, and pull up my tip ups just before they start biting. He taught me that Butternut was the "Dead Sea", never tell anyone that you were catching anything, and to always leave the doors open to the truck when driving to the middle of the lake. Ken was a soldier, a Korea War veteran, an honorable man. He was my father-in-law, a husband, a father, a grand-father, and a great grand-father. He will be missed. He will never be forgotten.
