Margaret Behm, of Antigo, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Care Partners, under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was 96 years old. She was born on July 1, 1920 in the town of Antigo, a daughter of William and Amanda (Zuehlke) Duernberger. She married Maynard Behm on June 28, 1941 at the Evangelical and Reform Church in Antigo. The couple celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary last June.

Mrs. Behm was a lifelong resident of Langlade County. Along with her husband Maynard they farmed in the Town of Vilas for 20 years. After farming they moved into Antigo.

Mrs. Behm enjoyed traveling to Bronson, MO, camping, her flower beds, crocheting and needle work.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Callahan, three sisters, Ruth Boettcher, Vera Bordeau, and Elma Larsen; four brothers, Herbert, Leon, William Jr. and George Duernberger.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Wes Jedras, officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
