To the whole Kostelny family, thinking of you with sympathy. Many fond memories
of showing cattle together at the Antigo fair. Being from a farm family, knowing
how hard we all worked together.. He was a nice man.
Take care, Peggy (Schroepfer) Quinn

Many great memories of spending time on the Farm with John and his family growing up. Paul and Mary both were so nice to all us kids that weren't Farm kids but loved spending time there. I learned a lot from your Dad, the one thing that has had to most impact on me was when he talked about buying tools and equipment, I remember him saying if you buy the right tool the first time, you don't need to worry about buying it again. I've recalled that in my adult life and used his advice. Many, Many Great memories. I feel so very blessed to have known your Father.

To Mary and the entire Kostelny Family, So sad, was I, when my sister Abby Kostyal Austin call to tell me of Paul's passing. And then, with in minutes, I was flooded with wonderful memories spread over 60 years that featured Paul, Mary, your Grandmother Ina, all of you "children " and the Farm. As the oldest I can remember my Father Rudy driving my Grandmother Olga and Aunt Ruth up to visit with you all. Your Mother helped me ride her horse ! When I married I was delight to share many visits with your parents. My husband, Rob, was the same age as your Dad; and he. as a boy. loved being on a neighbors Pennsylvania farm. They shared a Special Friendship and I am sure was part of the "welcoming committee with my Dad in Heaven. Your parents came to Pennsylvania, Naples, FL. and we in turn visited them in Clermont and up at the farm. After Rob passed away in 1997 I saw your Parents every season either at my Dad and Shirley's place in Ft Myers, FL. or we would drive up to their Winter Resort. When Dad passed in 2004, Miss Shirley and I drove up to Clermont FL. twice for fun pajama parties, game playing and a very good steak at your Father's favorite restaurant. I wish I could have written him one more letter to tell him how much he touched my life. I add my voice to the many to say "Your Husband and Father was a very Loving, genuine , salt of the earth, Good Man." You all have my deepest sympathy.

To all the Kostelny family -- I can just see Uncle Paul and my Dad Rudy sitting in heaven looking down on us all -- sharing stories of our families and good times shared. The city cousin Rudy --- bringing his children to the farm...and I had the best delight in being able to show my kids that lovely farm. The country cousin Paul telling my Dad of his travels to Europe and all over. I hope to stay in touch with you all. Peace and love to you all today. In this time of grief may you find strength and refuge in each other --- a most loving family and in the Lord who has prepared a room for His faithful and loving servant Paul. Love Abby (Kostyal), Rick, Sara & Jack Austin, Lombard Illinois

My condolences to the family at this time of loss. May God provide the strength needed now and in the days ahead. (Isaiah 12:2) May you find comfort in the words of Psalms 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a hope that is readily found in times of distress."

You will be missed Paul as you were a part of all our lives and our community. God has provided you with many great years of life and experience. You will be with your parents and my dad again who regarded you as great friend and neighbor. You loaned out your tractors and machinery whenever we asked. You enjoyed your brandy and a good joke. May God reward you for all your hard work and generous deeds. Mike and Janine Wurzer and family

I remember Paul from our wonderful trips to visit Andy at the farm. He always had a fun sense of humor and would make jokes about farming or politics. He was all farmer, from sunrise to sunset, but there was probably no other life he would have wanted for his children. Our sympathies go out to the Kostelny family. We know your dad and grandpa was a special man. His memories will stay close to your heart.

Dear Mary and Family, Please know that Paul and you meant so much to the Campbell family for decades. For years, Paul & my dad John, always enjoyed sharing their joint birthday beverage together. My first job was bailing hay with for you in the early 1970's. Thank you for best life memories and being great neighbors. Brent Campbell (son of John & Lucile)

Paul and Mary have remained near and dear to my heart. I have so many fond memories of Paul, the farm, the love he had for his land, and love for those grandkids! Despite being a "former daughter-in-law," whenever I would see Paul, I was always warmly greeted and it was just as if I was still a member of the family. I am so thankful that my children had Paul as their grandfather because they have so many incredible memories as well. They would always come home sharing funny stories and things that Grandpa Paul would say. God Bless you Paul, I am privileged to have known you and am thankful that you were a part of my life. Love, Jodi
