Mary Vande Hey, of Antigo, died Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 75 years old. She was born on January 3, 1941 in Antigo, a daughter of Clarence and Lorraine (Jordan) Vande Hey.
She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1959.
She worked in the Antigo area as a certified nurse assistant until an accident caused her to become disabled.
Survivors include two sons, John Fischer, Antigo, Michael Fischer, Antigo; a daughter, Dawn Packard, Antigo; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret (Robert) Klessig, Antigo, Katherine (Chris) Vande Hey - Maule, Mosinee; a brother, John Vande Hey, Antigo.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

My condolences go out to Mary's children, Dawn and Mike, who I've been friends with since high school. I only met their mother a few times but feel that I've known her better this past year through her daughter. Prayers and thoughts will be with you all during this sad time.
My favorite memory of Mary is when we lived in the trailer court and how we all took care of each other. The meals we three, Mary, Kathy, and I put together were awesome. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, I loved Mary like a sister and would visit her often when I came to Antigo. She was one hell of a broad and will be sadly missed. She is in a much better place now and we will all see her again some day. Take care everyone and you will all be in my prayers.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Miss Mary, I sure did have a million laughs with you when you worked for me at the Gold Coast Inn, and when i got to see you at Walmart. You always had a few choice words about stuff. I hope you are out of pain now and will be having some fun in Heaven, someday i will be there and find you.
