Charles "Charlie" Raduenz, of the town of Elcho, died Monday, December 21, 2015 at home. He was 70 years old. He was born on July 11, 1945 in Bloomington, Illinois a son of the late Lenore Raduenz. He married Kathy Kelly on October 26, 1996 in the Town of Norway. She survives.
He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc with the class of 1963. He earned an associate's degree from Dunwoody College of Technology.
Mr. Raduenz began his professional work life with Cutler-Hammer in Milwaukee. He later worked for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 32 years as a maintenance electrician. He volunteered as an EMT for the Waterford Fire Department. He retired from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 2004 and worked part time as a grounds crew member at Rivermoor Golf Club in Waterford.
He was a member of the Wind Lake Lions Club in Wind Lake.
The most important thing in his life were his children and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his dogs: Rhoda, Elfie and Sam. He especially cherished his dog Sam. He was a skilled woodworker who enjoyed crafting special gifts for friends and family. He enjoyed following Wisconsin sports teams and was well known for his sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, survivors include daughter, Heather (Bob) Ambacher of Mukwonago; son, Chuck (girlfriend Beth) Raduenz of Waterford; two step-daughters, Andrea Kapp of Milwaukee, Colleen (Chris) Huebsch of Mukwonago; sister-in-law, Kelly Kmichik of Elcho; seven grandchildren, Reese and Julia Raduenz, Charlie, Henry and Maxwell Ambacher, Kyle and Mollie Huebsch; two cousins, Curt Christensen of Minocqua, Peter (Donna) Christensen of Waterford; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother-in-law, Ronald Kmichik.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at noon at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Elcho Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

I was totally taken back by the passing of Chuck. I remember him as a fun loving human being and every time we got together he always made me feel good about our families coming together. I will miss seeing him on my trips to Wisconsin as Pa Pa Chuck will be sorely missed by me.
We were sad to head of Chuck's passing. He was a special friend that we connected with at Wolffs. Thanks for getting our Texas Shooters. RIP. Our prayers to you, Kathy, and your family.
My condolences to the family. I am sorry to hear about Chuck's passing. I worked with Chuck at the Journal. He was always a pleasure to work with. There was also more than 1 occasion that we stopped for a manhattan after work in the morning. Rest in peace.
Chuck should not be gone. To know him was to love and adore him. He lightened and made every situation fun and sarcastic. Nothing will be the same without him. I could not have received a better second round dad. I love you, Chuck!

Truly no better father-in-law than you. You immediately accepted me into the family. Thank you for raising such a fantastic daughter. You didn't get to see the giant candy cane in my yard but it's big enough and has enough lights on it so I'm sure you can see it from heaven. Leaving it on all day for you. Miss you a ton.
I knew him as such a friendly man. Always with a smile and a sincere "How are you?" I used to pass him on my drive to work while he was taking his morning walk. We would just wave to each other and I'd just know it would be a good day. My condolences to the family.
Oh Chuck....I knew from our very first WHISKEY Manhattan together that we would have a special bond!! I am glad that I was able to get Chuck off that Captain Morgan's stuff and bring him to the whiskey side!! Christmas was not the same without you, nor will it ever be. I loved my Vicky's Secret gift Card, I hope you enjoyed your time in the store..(wink, wink) I was so blessed to know you for the last 10 years and be part of your Family. I promise to take care of your Chuck for you!! But you did an amazing job raising him so that shouldn't be too hard!!! Until we have that Kessler's Manhattan in the sky together may you be bopping around with Sam to your Doo Wops and catching endless amounts of fish!!

I cannot tell you how much we will miss Chuck at Wolff's, he always came in with a big 'ol smile on his face! He and Kathy were always a joy to have as friends and customers, I hope that Kathy, Chuck Jr and Beth know how much they are loved, our hearts are breaking as well.
Chuck will be missed but never forgotten. The special memories of him will live on forever in my heart. He was an exceptional father full of love and kindness to our two beautiful children, Chuck and Heather.

So sorry to hear of Chucks passing. We worked together for many years at Journal Sentinel. I knew if Chuck was assigned to same trouble call as me we would resolve the problem quickly and have fun doing it. I'll always remember his smile and the fun times we shared.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Raduenz's passing. He was always such a nice a welcoming man. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this time of sorrow. Always remember God's got a plan for all of us. Charlie will be looking upon you and will always be your guardian angel up high.
