Sandra Rowley, of Elton, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at St. Clare's Hospital. She was 68 years old. She was born on November 4, 1946 in Antigo, a daughter of Emil and Raeburn (Robinson) DeHart.
She attended High School in White Lake and Kenosha. She completed her education at North Central Technical College in Wausau becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Sandy worked at Langlade Hospital as a CNA and for the family business operating a bed and breakfast, a campground, providing horse drawn tours and winter sleigh rides.
She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include a daughter, Joann (Christopher) Wurzer of Appleton; two grandchildren Jonathan (Paige) and Brandon (Melissa) Wurzer; three great-grandchildren Gavin, Emilia and Wyatt; best friend, Tom King of Elton; three sisters, Charlene (Ray) Sinkler of Bryant, Paula DeHart of White Lake, Pamela (Vaughn) Powell of Kenosha; four brothers, Allen (Marla) DeHart of Colorado, Mike DeHart of Pearson, Gary (Barbara) DeHart of Kenosha, Charles DeHart of White Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Duane "Duke" DeHart.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday June 14, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Fr. Marion Talaga officiating. Burial will follow in the Elton Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 1:30 p.m. Sunday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Sandy you will be sadly missed all the jokes the free spirit in you that smile that lights up a room our trips up north will never be the same without you we love you RIP
Sandy you will be deeply missed by all. Your silly jokes and laugher I can still hear. You were such a wonderful loving, kind hearted person. I remember bird watching with you and grandma Carol all time. I will never forget our talks and will cherish our times we had together forever. I will miss you so but am thankful you will no longer be suffering. The Lord has gained an Angel of ours and we will forever have a New guardian to guide us in life. May you rest in peace with our Lord. God bless.
Aunt Sandy had character and at times was a second mother when I was growing up. She had a unique way of making holidays special and I will never forget making "bombs away" cookies. She had a special way of encouraging us to go past our personal boundaries like swimming out to the raft on McGee's lake or saddling a horse. She helped us pass the heartbreak of the hogs grandpa butchered in the fall by making sugar cookie cut-outs of "Pigget and Spot" as a memorial. She had the fortitude to take us for a sleigh ride and tobogganing in the hills in spite of having a broken leg. To add to it, the horse ran off and she hobbled out of the hills pulling the toboggan, Joann, Bethany and I in tow. This is how I remember her, strength and courage with no boundaries.
