Willard Benjamin Rose, of Antigo, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 91 years old. He was born on July 23, 1923 in Hollister, a son of the late Richard and Verna (Brown) Rose.
Willard grew up in Hollister and moved to Antigo in 1935. He worked for Prosser Brothers and other area potato farms. He later worked for James Breitenfeldt.
He enjoyed watching western movies, taking trips, garage sales, shopping and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two brothers, Richard (Martha) Rose of New London and Ronald (Patricia) Rose of Peoria, IL; a sister, Jessie Buck of Antigo; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Lenore "Dolly" Zelinski, Iva Taylor and Leona Goller; brothers, Donald, Rufus and Luther and a brother and sister in infancy, Alley and Neoma.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Willard loved his tractors. We always discussed these types of things when we visited our Sister/Sister in Law as they lived in the same complex. He will be missed. Our condolences to his family.
