Franklin D. Clark, of Pickerel, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Langlade Hospital. He was 77 years old. He was born on April 6, 1937 in Pickerel, a son of the late Harry and Anna (Fischer) Clark. He married Claudia Anderson on July 2, 1966 in Waukegan, IL. She survives.

Mr. Clark served in the United States Army from January 12, 1955 to December 13, 1957.

He was employed at American Motors-Chrysler in Kenosha for over 32 years. Following his retirement in 1992 he returned to Pickerel.

He loved to hunt, take Canadian fishing trips and watch wildlife in the back yard. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife survivors include five daughters, Esmerelda Spiess of Oppenheim, Germany, Linda Clark of New Mexico, Paula (Dale) Wissbroecker of Bloomer, Deanna (Madis) Seim of Chippewa Falls and Krista (Scott) Smith of Eleva; son, Frank Clark, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother, William Clark of Antigo; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Clark of Racine, Marianne Clark of Pickerel and Lisa (Erick) Andersen of Kenosha; two brothers-in-law, Dave Wolf of Lily and Anthony Patalocchi of Yardley, PA.

He was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy; three brothers, Harry, Robert and Edwin; two sisters, Margaret Powell and Kathleen Wolf; brother-in-law, Floyd Powell and sister-in-law, Sharleen Clark.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
