Charlie & I became friends in the 6th grade. Boy, we did more than our share of wild and crazy things growing up. We had our ups & downs. Fight, laugh, cry and pray together. I aprreciate your love and kindness you've always shown to my parents & kids. Love you Brother. Rest in Peace.
Your bone head brother Ed

Both my husband Rodney and I were friends with Charlie as were 2 of my brothers back in high school. Rode the school bus sometimes too. My mom used to let him stay at our house sometimes... I remember when he and one of my brothers came to our house with a whole car full of watermelons.. I believe my dad made them take them back after we ate one... He did have a wonderful sense of humor and a memorable smile. Blessings on his family.. Goodbye Charlie.

Charlie, a great man. He loved his family and his church. I have heard him sing and play his guitar. He was very good at his job. I remember him taking us all out to dinner for steak. He was fun and and loved to laugh. Our families went to church together. He spoke about God, his family, his friends

Charlie, so sad to hear your gone. Charlie had a big heart. He would help anyone in need. Charlie moved me so many times when I was younger. I know I drove him crazy! Thank you Charlie for caring for my parents when they were sick as if they were your own. Thanks for the laughs and music. I take comfort that you arent suffering anymore. No doubt in heaven with the Lord!

A former brother-in-law and dear friend. He told me he was coming to Madison to install flooring, he asked where a good motel was as he would be here for a while, I told him there was no motel for him in Madison, he would be staying with my family. It was a good time, he remained my good friend always, I will miss you Charlie.

He loved his family so much. I remember the music, he loved the music. The openness he had for me and Samantha coming from an outsider into the family. He treated us like his own and protected us. And who could forget his laugh and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by many. Thank you Charlie for the great memories and the beautiful sky tonight; telling us your happy in heaven. Love you Charlie.
