He was an awesome Uncle--very unassuming and very compassionate. Always a positive outlook on life..Love him dearly...
Bill was a friend and mentor to me while at WPS in Antigo. He was kind and helpful to everyone who came in for help or just to chat. I think of his many quips and often told him to write a book of them. I'm very sorry to have missed the news of his death in time to come to the funeral. My condolences to you, Gerri and family. My deepest sympathies to the family. It was always a pleasure working with Bill. His "down home "wit and wisdoms" were unique and I have relied upon them to amuse others as well. He will be missed.
Michael Brown WPS retired.
It was my pleasure to work summers with Bill while in college many years ago. I appreciated his wisdom, humor, low key nature, and friendship. He was a good man. I'm sorry for your loss.
