Dear Ken and the entire Barta Family ~ It is said that when we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have a beautiful Dorothy angel to watch over you now.
Dorothy was such a great friend to our Mom and not only had a big heart, but great sense of humor too. I will never forget the laughter I always heard when being around Dorothy. I extend my most sincere condolences to all of you at this time. And I am so grateful to have known such a truly lovely lady while growing up in Antigo! Cheri Galecke

I had the great fortune of growing up right next door to the Bartas. I viewed them as my second family and much of that was Dorothy's generosity in welcoming me into the family.

Many years have passed since then. I had the opportunity to see Dorothy a couple of years ago and it was like no time had passed at all and I was still that welcomed member of the family.

Ken, Jane, Paul, Craig and your families - please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. My heart goes out to you all.

Dear Barta Family -
Dorothy was one of those people you just enjoyed being around, her smile and her kind way was a magnet that others wanted to be a part of. She was one of those people who come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts. She was a true friend to my mom and as a young lady she was also a calm friendly voice in my own life as the Galecke girls worked through the tribulations of growing up in Antigo. Dorothy brought so many happy moments into all of our lives, and has now left us with a treasure trove of memories. I will never forget her. My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time of loss.

CandleDear Ken and Family,
I've known you both and your family for many, many years and we've had so many good times together. It is with great sadness the passing of Dorothy, or Dot, as some called her. I can't tell you how deep my sympathy for all of your family is at this moment. May God bless and care for her as she cared for the family she had on earth.

Dear Ken and Family -
My heartfelt prayers are with you all as you complete, what I am certain, has been a very difficult journey. May God hold each and every one of you close. May you perhaps see that special star up in the sky that I know Dorothy will be looking through from heaven, always watching over and loving you forever.
In prayer, sympathy and faith.
