George was a good friend of my Uncle Greg White and a friend of myself. I wanted to connect with him in later years, I just never knew how. A great photographer and outdoorsman. You are missed George.

I've been thinking about my sweet handsome cousin Porge - it made me sad to come across his obituary on the internet. We were so very close when we were young and had so much fun together - oh the stories! I cherish the picture of Porge and his '64 Impala - that gold beauty! Pope, you know I love you and I so regret not being able to hug you just one more time. Miss you - Dolly
I grew up next door to George in Oak Creek on Richards Road. We were good friends, that had a crush on each other...lol. Went to school together. I'm so very saddened to hear of his passing.
George was so proud to have a daughter that he always wanted, He was told he couldn't have children but I proved them wrong, LOL. Maddie and I are so sad that he couldn't continue to watch her grow, go to college and have babies. he is and will always be in our hearts. we will love u forever babe. Mom and Sissy
George was and is my beloved brother. I remember when we were kids camping out in our front yard. George boasted that he's not afraid of anything. So, our cousin Karen and one of our friends and I decided we were going to play a prank on him. We took a flashlight, to shine on his tent and I began to make bear noises. George, our brother Eric and their friend went screaming into the house after our mom. Needless to say it left our cousin our friend and I laughing till we were sick. So much for George's bravery. I still laugh today when I think of that moment in our lives. I have told that story to my own family, with the same reaction as all of us had back then. I will miss him forever, I will always love him and never forget him.
God bless you. You will be deeply missed. Love and prayers are with the family.
