Dear Uncle Neal, Aunt Joyce and.cousins Jeff & Lori,

Thank you for the love and kindness shown to Roger, Jeanine and I during those endless and joyful summers of the 60s.

Although never consciously aware of it as a kid, Uncle Neal and Grampa Bill were (always will be), two of the very best and most important adult male role models of my childhood.

Oh the memories!

Sleeping in the old school bus alongside the alfalfa field.

Open Air Camping in the poison ivy with hundreds of of chiggars.

Raising rabbits ... beginning each Spring with "Buck" and a few "Momma Bunnies."

Crawfish fun at Salmo Pond.

Sitting in the Catalpa Tree with Jeff serenading Gramma Flo by singing, "Good Old Summertime."

I'll bet Jeff can still sing it by memory! May we met again ... to sing it together.

Love you all!

R.I.P. and in the joy of The Lord, Uncle Neal

I am so saddened to hear this. I knew Neal and Joyce back in the 70s and 80s. They attended my wedding in 78. We spent a fair amount of time out at the lake all those years ago. I'll miss Neal.

I remember so many great times with Neal and Joyce when I lived with Jeff and Helen in Pine Bluff. The time when I was pealing potatoes and Neal walked in and told me I was wasting too much of the tator...first time I ever heard anyone say the word tator, I laughed so hard I could not continue pealing the "tators". I will cherish the memories of that time in my life for the rest of my days. Joyce, I still have the needlepoint picture you gave me as a gift, from one of the many of the holidays we all spent together. Do you remember? It was cross stitch, of an old fashioned black sewing machine that folds down into the table top, with a bookshelf and plant on top, and picture hanging in the background....it was so sweet, like a setting in an old farm house. I love that picture, I think if you EVERY time I look at it. It sits on my desk where I see it every day.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Joyce.

Memories make life so special. And you and Neal have given me SO many. God Bless you and your family Joyce.

Love, Dave and Jules Librande
