Mrs. Schetter will always hold a special place in my heart and in my memories. As a teacher and a principal, she supported me in learning, in athletics, and in personal development. She went above and beyond and towed the line when I needed it most. I owe a lot to her and Mrs. Szitta for pushing me beyond my own goals towards things I never dreamed. She will forever be one of my guiding lights. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Germaine subbed for the Elcho School District for many years, which is where I got the opportunity to get to know such a wonderful lady. She was such an inspiration to everyone and a very classy lady. She will truly be missed.

My Aunt Germaine had such class, she was a lady. She loved to entertain. I'll always have fond memories of my time spent in Antigo and at the lake with both my Aunt and Uncle.

Another thing I remember about aunt Germaine was her great cooking and she was "hooked on golf in addition to being quite funny.
Hey uncle Larry, I remember buying my 1st car from your Ford dealership in Antigo. A 1965 Mustang for less than $3,000. I traded that on a 1968 Mustang Fast Back with you. Boy I wish I had those cars now.

My heart goes out to Mrs. Schetter's family. I have the fondest memories of being one of her students in both her classroom and the G/T program while at North Elementary. She, along with many of the other wonderful teachers I had the privilege of learning from, sparked the desire within to become an educator as well. I am so blessed to have had her touch my life and leave a lasting imprint on me as an elementary teacher. I will never forget how as a ten year-old, I thought North Elementary was so special because we had "lavatories" instead of bathrooms! 😊 Thank you, Mrs. Schetter, for touching my life and my heart. You will not be forgotten!

My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Schetter's family. She was the first teacher I met when I moved to Antigo in 1976 and one of the many reasons I loved going to school. She was a wonderful teacher and was always kind and compassionate.

I knew Germaine from the time I was a child she visited at my Grandma Lenzners with Aunt Lucy and Martha often. My dad. Joe B visited at their house as well. I remember she was always dressed beautifully. She and my dad who were cousins had that in common. She was a person who taught for the love of the profession and I am sure inspired many. I know her faith was strong and she will be Remembered by her family with love and appreciation for her good works.

Germaine, A best friend to me and many people. She loved her husband dearly. She spoke highly . of her daughter Mary Jo and husband Robert. The grandchildren brought special energy to her soul. Germaine cared about all the students of North Elementary and created the first gifted and talented program. In the spring Germaine organized two softball games during the noon recess. Team winners were rewarded with candy bars. Every thing Germaine participated in came from the heart and soul. God has gained a special advocate like no other. As we all miss her we will know she prays for us from heaven.

A special thank you from Jay and Julie Blazek, proud members of "Mrs. Schetter's" first gifted and talented class at North Elementary. She and Linda Szitta were such inspirations to all the students there and will live on in their memories always. Germaine was a special lady and it was a privilege to have known her.

She was a great aunt. We spent summers at their lake house in Wisconsin. I know uncle Lawrence will miss her.

I loved Mrs. Schetter. She was an amazing teacher and an inspiring woman. She was our teacher when President Kennedy was killed and she made us feel that we could deal with what had happened. She wanted us to know that since we were 4th graders, we could hear the news. She always treated us with respect and in turn she received ours. Please accept my sincere sympathy. It must be difficult to live without her, but memories of her will never leave. Much love to her family.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Schetter. She was a special lady and one of those people that you will never forget. I met her at the Age of 6 when I began attending North Elementary. She was always so kind to my brothers, sister, and myself during our school years at North. She made such a positive impact not only upon myself at such a young age, but many other students as well. I had seen Mrs. Schetter a few times beyond those gradeschool years and she definitely was one of the most respected and classy ladies that I've ever known.

I always admired Germaine, she was one of the classiest ladies I know. She was always very kind and was a good friend. My sympathy to all of her family.

I will remember Mrs. Schetter for the great jump start she gave me in my education. I could relate stories about her for hours. I recall meeting her and Larry at Leffel's Supper Club some years ago. We enjoyed getting reacquainted, and I was surprised at how little she changed since I sat in her classroom. My best to her family.

i was a student at elmhurst grade school, she was miss ulemann at that time. the school had 2 rooms, 4 grades each.amazing on how we can remember our childhood days. my sympathy to the family.

Germaine was one of my first Friends when I moved to Summit Lake 20 years ago. I have so many stories to tell!
I have been very fortunate to have her in my life!

I had Mrs. Schetter as a teacher at North Elementary and later she was a sub for my children at Elcho school. She always had such kind things to say. She was a lady with great style. Sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Schetter was my principle and teacher at North Elem. I worked in the office during study period and loved it. She was a great educator
