Denise Mattmiller, of Antigo, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at KHTCR-Eastview. She was 40 years old. She was born on September 10, 1973 in Phoenix, Arizona a daughter of Larry and Carol Brooks. She married Steven Mattmiller on August 18, 1994 in Phoenix. He survives.
She was raised in Arizona, Texas and New Mexico. Mrs. Mattmiller worked as a receptionist at Stuart Title and John Hall and Associates title company in Phoenix and moved to Antigo in 2010.
She enjoyed her role as a mother and grandmother, reading, spending time outdoors sightseeing, camping and fishing.
Survivors including her husband are a son Steven L. Mattmiller, at home; a daughter Kristen Vehmeir, Phoenix; a sister Jennifer Brooks and a brother Jason Brooks both of Phoenix; a step-daughter Arin Zingler of Antigo and her husband SSG Lucas Zingler, U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Richardson, Alaska; four step-grandchildren Breanna, Caleb, Madison and Maycee.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Mandt from Northwoods Family Worship Center officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Denise was one of a kind...Her family meant the world to her..as long as she had her family,nothing else mattered..she was one of the most giving people I ever met.my dear sweet sister I will miss you deeply.R.I.P-i love you for always,Debbie...
