Carrie,
We am so sorry for your loss! Linda and I just heard about Vince from a friend of mine who knew his relatives in Green Bay, and he forwarded the information. So, belatedly, we pray for you and your family in this time of great dispair. Your dad Jim, was of course a good friend of ours. We pray that the Good Lord will take this tremendous burden off of your shoulders and bless and keep you. Vince will be missed at the gym and it won't seem the same without him!

M Michael Rogers on Dec 27, 2013

Vince was the fist person I meet when I moved to Manitowoc. We became best friends right away. we would run around our side causing trouble. There wasn't many days that we weren't together. Then he moved to Green Bay. It hurt that my best friend moved away but we always found time to visit each other, weather it was weekends or school breaks. He always had a positive out look on life. Most of all his parents were very nice and giving. It's been along time since I've seen him but I always see things around my town that brings up great memories of me an him having fun as kids. Ill always have a piece of Vince in my heart. The lord will be watching over him as he will over all those he loved. See u on the other side my friend. Best wishes to his Dad, Mom, brothers, and sisters. You were a second family to me. love you all.

Carrie, Fred and I send our profound condolences to you, your kids, and to your extended O'Connor family. I am grateful for having been involved in wonderful memories and events with you and Vince that we shared as co-workers and friends through BFSH. Vince was a strong, warm-hearted, and caring person. I pray that he and the Lord help you and the kids make your way through this sadness and heartache - and please believe our thoughts and prayers will be with you. We love you, Carrie. Our hearts are with you.

Vince was someone you just loved to be around. I like that he was so genuine and caring, and how he would inspire others through his passion for fitness.

Carrie, I am so very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

R Renee' Cooper on Dec 20, 2013

From birth, Vincent was always a very special person. I have so many memories of his sweet smile, and sense of humor. At the age of 4, he firmly believed that anything could fixed with DUCK TAPE. I especially remember the week he and my son, Noah, spent in Chicago, auditioning to become teen models. Though my son was much younger, Vince treated him like a, "buddy" and never became impatient with him when they were together. My deepest sympathy goes out to Judy, Patrick, Vincent's brothers and sisters, and especially to his wife and children. Just know that Vince is enjoying paradise with his Heavenly Father, experiencing His amazing grace and incomprehensible love. You, all, are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you the peace that passes understanding, as you struggle with his loss, in the days to come.

Carrie,Gavin, Abbie and your entire family,

My heart aches for you... Just know, you are in our thoughts and prayers... and may the peace which comes from all the memories of love you and your family share with Vince, comfort you now, and the years ahead.

God Bless You,
Kathy and Dave Greening

We didn't know Vince as long as most, but he became a good friend in no time at all...not hard with a personality like his. I can't thank him enough for all he helped me accomplish, and Marshall and I loved having him over to do strongman in the shop. He was always around with a smile, and a great joke - and made us die laughing with his Arnold impersonation. We're really going to miss you buddy, thanks for being a great inspiration and friend.

Carrie & Family
We cannot begin to understand what you must be going through right now, but we send our love, and we promise to pray for your entire family during this difficult time.

R Robin F. on Dec 19, 2013

I will never forget this man. (or the time he locked us out of the gym....all because he had to make me RUN!...by the way no one else could make me run). He would never let me leave the gym mad or disappointed in myself. He always made me feel like I was improving and doing well...even if I went backwards...and he could always make me laugh. God has a great angel with him in Heaven. Love and prayers to the O'connor family.

I'm so sorry Carrie...I just heard the news... Thinking of you, the kiddos and your families... So many thoughts and prayers for you...

Vince and Carrie organized activities for the Meyer Family Reunion this past August. All of the kids had a blast participating in fun "feats of strength and skill". I kicked back in my lounge chair and watched the kids rally around Vince. I was impressed by Vince, this strong man being so kind and patient with the little ones. My heart breaks for Gavin and Abbie and Carrie. St Paul said, Mourn with those who mourn. I pray for you all to have moments of peace and know from experience the grace of grief. Peace.

I live in Barnesville, MN and left very early for work heading east on Monday. I came upon the aftermath of the accident and said a little prayer for whomever was in the pickup. Later on in the morning we heard there was a fatality, a young man from Wisconsin. I instantly thought he was going home for Christmas from working out west in ND. I don't know why I felt compelled to search and want to learn more about this son, brother, and Daddy Vince. I am sending sympathy to the O'Connor family. Love never dies.....

B Beth Meidl on Dec 18, 2013

Carrie you are in our prayers. Words can't begin to say how I feel. I hope you and your children find some peace. You have a lot of people ready to stand by you in your hour of need. I Love you kid.

I had the chance to get to know Gavin when I went along on a field trip with his class this fall. I was impressed by what a polite, well behaved young man he was & thought at the time that he must have some really great parents. Our hearts are with you all as you go through this. Please know that if there is anything we can do, we are here for you. Trey & his mom

Vincent was our "miracle" child when he was born
at St. Joseph's Hospital where I worked on May 16,
1981. He will always be our "miracle" child.

C Colleen Froelich on Dec 18, 2013

Vince was a loving husband, a funny and affectionate father, and he was a protective big brother. Whether he was playing guitar, working out with friends, or laughing with family he was always making people around him smile with his sense of humor. He was a very genuine person, and despite his funny exterior he had a tender heart. He fiercely loved his wife, Carrie, and their children, Abbie and Gavin.
Vince was not only my big brother, but he was also my friend. I know you are peace at Vince. I love you.

J Julie Gliszinski on Dec 18, 2013

My deepest sympathy to all, may you all find comfort in God's love. Many Blessings!

L Linda Muraski on Dec 18, 2013

I met vince at Anytime Fitness. He pushed you hard. I told him I was an old lady and to take it easy on me and that I didn't want to have big muscles like he had. He then took it easy on me. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

E Ellen Mosher on Dec 18, 2013

CandleWhen I first met Vince at Anytime Fitness I was seriously nervous as to what he was going to have me do work out wise. He pushed me to my limits and encouraged me when I wanted to give up. He was a great man that will truly be missed.

A Amanad Rosio on Dec 17, 2013

I met Vince and Carrie at Anytime Fitness. He had the greatest sense of humor and could motivate even the most stubborn of us. He pushed me to my limits and helped me pass them. He was a great man and will be missed.
