Darrel Dwayne Robinson, of White Lake, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Langlade Hospital. He was 67 years old. He was born on July 21, 1946 in Antigo, a son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Bailey) Robinson. He married Cindria Easterday on May 10, 1969 in Zion, IL. She preceded him in death on February 2, 2002.
He attended Elton Grade School and was a graduate of White Lake High School. Mr. Robinson served in the United States Army from December 14, 1965 to December 13, 1967 having served in Vietnam.
He raised horses for 26 years and was a member of the Arabian Horse Association, the Humane Society and the North Shore Animal League.
He was a quiet simple man who loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Jeff) Lenzner of Antigo and Tracie Robinson of Wausau; an adopted son, Matthew Robinson of Elton; four grandchildren, Tasha Bostwick of Neenah, Chanse Lenzner of Antigo, Justin Speener of Wausau and Lacey Lenzner of Antigo; four great-grandchildren, Morgan Merritt, McKenzie Bostwick, Makaila Lenzner and Ozzie Lenzner; and four sisters, Mary Messer of Antigo, Glenna Robinson of White Lake, Gale Lewis of Elton and Karen (Ed) Sellers of White Lake.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by six sisters, Florence Robinson, Geneva Powell, Barbara Valentine, Carol Guthrie, Ardith "Lorraine" Gilliam and Raeburn DeHart; and four brothers, William, Orville, Ralph and Alfred "Larry".
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Marvin Kindle officiating. Burial will take place in Elton Cemetery where White Lake veterans will conduct military honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

My children loved the summer we spent in Elton. They would go over to see the horses and spend time w/ their cousin. He will be missed by all his family in Ohio (Mary Robinson Scott) and cousins (Sara Scott Lopez) as far south as WPB, FL.
