I had the best fishing experiences with him when I was about 8. as a matter of fact, it was the only time I enjoyed fishing.
We bought our cabin on Circle Drive in 2005. The map of Post Lake your dad stopped by our place with in his red pick-up that first summer still hangs on our refrigerator there today. Such a kind, sweet man - would always tell me his name was "Bob" when I referred to him as Mr. Neuwirth. May he rest in peace. His smile will be missed on Circle Drive and at Holy Family.
Dear Neuwirth Family,
I was sorry to read of your father's death and want to share a special memory of him with you. In 1976, our country's bicentennial, your parents came to Pleasant View School. Your dad gave each of my second-grade students a bicentennial coin. He also gave me a photograph of the bicentennial train engine. I had not known your parents before and can't remember why my class was chosen to receive his gifts but I have always remembered his kindness.
May your precious memories of him bring you comfort and peace.
Sincere sympathy,
Nancy Blood
It seems to me he said one of you had Leona Kretz as your 5th grade teacher at St Johns School. She was my mom.
