Frederick Heller, of Antigo, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at his home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice following an eight month long battle with cancer. He was 76 years old. He was born on May 4, 1937 in Wausau, a son of Fred and Anna (Steinfest) Heller. He married Linda Meyers on May 24, 1958 in Milwaukee. She survives.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1955. At age 17 he moved to Milwaukee and worked for Allis-Chalmers and at American Motors. He lived in Texas for several years before returning to Antigo where he worked for 34 years at Tony Spychalla Farms retiring in 2002.
He enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR, listening to all different types of music and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors including his wife are their seven children: Jeff (Sue) Heller, Superior, Fred (Vickie) Heller, Antigo, Carol Heller, Milwaukee, Mike Heller, Sparta, Chris (Kathy) Heller, Schofield, Darrell (Nicola) Heller, Weston, Charlie (Katie) Heller, Appleton; a sister Ann Thome, Oconomowoc; 26 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother-in-law Ricky Meyers, Montello; and a sister-in-law Carol Meyers, Racine.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Heller and Anna Silhavy, his step-father, Bohumil Silhavy, a grandson, Jeramie Heller, two brothers, Aurel Heller and Albert Silhavy; a sister-in-law, Kathy Meyers and a brother-in-law, Charles Meyers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Omer Kelley officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fred will be sadly missed by my entire Spychalla family. Heartfelt sympathy goes out to Linda, and family. My Fred's life live on in all of our memories and stories.

I meet Fred in 2007 moved next door to him and we hit it off right away he was my best friend and I will truly miss him in so many ways most just going by him and talking nothing but bull shit. Yes you were my buddy rip my friend.
