Ruth A. Westerman, of Grand Marsh, died Sunday, August 4, 2013 at her home. She was 80 years old. She was born on January 13, 1933 in Milwaukee, a daughter of the late John and Olga Gellert. She married Herbert Westerman on September 15, 1956 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on November 28, 1997.

She resided in Menomonee Falls for 30 years moving to Deerbrook in 1991. In 2005 she moved to Grand Marsh to be with her daughter.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy (Jeff) Jossart of Grand Marsh; a son, Tom Westerman of Deerbrook; and a brother, Marvin (Yvonne) Gellert of Milwaukee.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. followed by burial in the Kempster Cemetery.
