To Jean and the family, I am so sorry for your loss...My more recent memories of him was when he played with Gary's basement band when I would be over at Gary's singing with them..He sure loved to play & sing..I know he will be missed by both family & friends...May he rest in peace

My fondest memory of your father was when he took us to the Popeye Cartoon theater so that you could be on tv for your birthday. I'll always remember how stuffed we were when we each had 2 big macs at the Shawano McDonalds. I think he enjoyed watching us eat the big macs more than he enjoyed his own. He was a good man.
Dear Andy, Brenda,Jennifer and Jeremiah,
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Cindi, Emily, Olivia

I will always remember Oran standing outside, under the street light on a foggy night looking down the street as I gave his son Joe a ride home:) What a night.... I will also miss hollering hello to Oran as I rode by, while he listened to the Brewers on the radio outside. All our love and prayers to all the Whitt family, this community will surely lost a good man...Tom & Cindy Conto
I remember the hootenannies! I was blessed to have played music and sing with Oran, as recently as a couple of months ago, and throughout my life. He will be missed by the 'music' community, including me.....
So sorry for you loss. Thoughts and prayers to the Whitt family.
The Railroad Family lost a GREAT Man and awesome person. I knew Oran many years and he only had good things to say and a great view on life in general. Enjoyed breakfast with him a year or two ago while traveling in White Lake where he always had his stool. Was a pleasure talking to him about the "good ol days". My condolences go out to the entire Whitt Family, many of whom I have had the pleasure of working with thru the years. He was one of a kind & will be missed by many........Paul Sauter
It was an Honor to have become a Friend of Oran, We had talked alot about hunting, his times in the town of White Lake, his years of working with the railroad and his unique perspectives on all things in general. We also looked forward to going to Oran's 4th of July celebration. Oran, we'll miss you , but we'll also share a story or two with life's lessons learned from You.
