Bruce Kreager, of Antigo, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. He was 55 years old. He was born on January 1, 1958 in Wausau. He married Margaret Flack on January 28, 2006 in Tampa, Florida. She survives.
He dairy farmed with his step-father Tom Perry in Aniwa. In 2005 he established Denali Vans which he operated until his death.
He enjoyed traveling on cruises and camping, fishing and spoiling the ones he loved. His pets were special to him, namely his dogs: Stretch and Mildred and cats: Simon and Henrietta.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Antigo.
Survivors including his wife and step-father are a step-daughter Jennifer Flack, Oak Creek; two step-sons Greg (Megan Case) Flack, Antigo, Justin Flack, Antigo; an adopted son Adam Wampole, Antigo; two sons Kip (Sarah) Kreager, Wausau, Kyle Kreager, Merrill; a grandchild Cassius Kreager, Wausau; a brother Alan (Jodi) Kreager, Antigo; and his mother-in-law Betty Wright, Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his mother Donna (Krueger) Perry and his father Walter Kreager; a sister Lori Kreager.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Anderson officiating. Burial will take place in Forestview Cemetery in the town of Vilas.
Visitation will be Sunday from 3 - 6 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Bruce was a wonderful man. As a Case Manager at one of the local hospitals I enjoyed working with him. He was such a caring person. He was always willing to go out of his way to help. He will be missed. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Bruce was a very strong and kind person, he was my father I never had. I will always keep the great memories that we shared in my heart forever! I love you Bruce and will never forget you !

I will always remember fondly playing bingo with Bruce. He had a knack of winning and always had good things to say and would make a person smile. Heaven has another angel!
