Oliver Houston Jackson, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 69 years old. He was born on January 31, 1944 in Florida a son of Albert and Orie Jackson.
He was employed as a mechanic for Floyd Powell, at Eli's junkyard and worked at All Car Automotive all in Antigo. Later he worked in maintenance for County Market and Copps Food Center. In retirement he lived in Florida and South Dakota before returning to Antigo.
His hobbies included fishing, following Jeff Gordon in NASCAR racing, working on his own vehicles and remodeling projects.
Survivors include three daughters Olivia "Libbie" (Wayne Seabourn) Whited, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Georgianna Bardell, Wausau, Marie (Kris) Henschler, Schererville, Indiana; four sons Aaron (Pam) Jackson, Antigo, Lee (Regina) Jackson, Indianapolis, Indiana, Stephen (Jenny Shields) Jackson, Antigo, James (Wendy Oas) Jackson, Wausau; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and four brothers including Charles Jackson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.

Houston will always hold a special place in my heart. He always had a smile on his face and a smart ass comment that you couldnt help but laugh at. Sorry I didnt see you in the years after we moved outta town. I miss you and love you like family! Please find peace now. You have my father George Truman in heaven to BS with now! I am very sorry for the loss of your father. He was a good man, a hard working man and a good father. I wish I had some words that would comfort your aching hearts, but just knowing that he is at peace now is a blessing. He will be watching you from up high.

He was a very good man when I knew him at Floyd's Repair. I will think of him often.
