To know Daryl was to like him, he had a compelling personality. I remember him letting me drive the farm equipment on his farm and him giving me little chores to do and watching a calf being born @ the farm. I also remember him giving me chewing tobacco to mix with my gum (lol!). He was a good friend of my dad & mom. He will be missed. My condolences go out to his family during this sad time.

I would like to take this time to send my heartfelt prayers and wishes for comfort to the family of a wonderful man who passed today. He was a father figure to many, a comedian, a man with a huge heart, tough as nails when he needed to be, but as giving as the day is long. This man has taught me alot about being a Firefighter. He knew more than most. I will forever remember serving with him and always hold him close to my heart. I am proud to say that I served along side of this man. May all blessings and prayers find you all.

Bonnie and Family..I am sorry to learn of Daryls passing. My heartfelt sympathies are with you at this time. I remember Daryl as a friend when we were on the Town of Antigo volunteer fire department in the 1980's. He was a joy to be around. He was funny, caring and a serious hard worker. May God Bless his soul and he rest in peace.
