I did my clinicals at Eastview in February and Leonard was one of our residents. The first time I went in to get him up for the day I had to laugh because he had candy wrappers on the floor and in his bed and it reminded me of my dad, he does the same thing. I knew that he had arthritis in his neck really bad so while we were working those few days I made a point of it to bring him a hot neck wrap that I knew that he liked. He never said no to one! :) He was one resident that stuck in my mind after my clinicals were done and I was sad to see his obituary in the paper. I'm very sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathies to the family. I used to live in Antigo and knew Pauline and Leonard very well. I will always remember Leonard by the leather wallets he made for myself and my son. My prayers are with your family at this time.
