Waldemar Rudolph Schramke Jr., of Milwaukee died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his daughter's home in Merton. He was 76 years old. He was born on January 15, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio a son of Waldemar and Polly (Showers) Schramke. He married Barbara Slivinski on February 2, 1957 in Milwaukee. She survives.
He was a 1955 graduate of the Boys Tech School in Milwaukee and attended Purdue University graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Mr. Schramke was a plumber for the Milwaukee County park system for many years. In 1998 he retired and moved to the town of Doty in Oconto County. He was a member of the Plumbers Local 75.
He enjoyed taking fishing trips to Canada with his family.
Survivors include a son, Bradley (Linda) of West Allis; two daughters, Beth (Edward) Luczak of Merton and Gail (Donald) Moersfelder of Wind Lake; seven grandchildren, Marsha and Dianna Schramke, Benjamin (Julie), Danielle and Stacey Luczak, Alexander and Maxwell Moersfelder; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Weston Luczak; and a brother, Ernest (Lillian) Kerby of Waynesboro, VA.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Brown.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Kindle officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
