Joseph K. Dube, of White Lake, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at Langlade Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 76 years old. Born on May 9, 1936 in Lewiston, Maine, he was a son of Onues and Laurette (Michaud) Dube. He married Carol Wuerzinger on December 10, 1955 in Milwaukee. She survives.

He graduated from Lewiston High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS DesMoines. He moved to Milwaukee and was employed as a machinist for Milwaukee Die Cast until moving to White Lake in 1983. Upon moving to White Lake he became employed at Skarlupka Motion Systems and served as a volunteer for the White Lake Fire Department. He retired in 1999.

He was an avid outdoorsman. Fishing, hunting and camping were his favorite past times.

He was a member of St. James and Stanislaus Parish in White Lake.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Linda (Eric Gerds) Dube of Wausau and Debra Dube of Denver, Co; a son, Jay Martindale of White Lake; four grandchildren, Rhea (Walter Brenne) Al-Sowiti, Rebecca Herrera, Amir Al-Sowiti and Vanessa (Josh Renner) Alanis-Torrez; six great-grandchildren, Cristian, Kiana, Anthony, Olivia, Yasmine and Josiah; a sister, Arlene (James) Thomas, Melbourne, FL; and a brother, Delano (Linda) Dube, Victoria, Australia.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Strebel officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
