Mr. Seis, Dan and David. My deepest sympathies to you in the loss of Mrs. Seis.
She inspired greatness in myself and others during our time together in Mountain School.
May she rest in God's Gracious Kingdom.
My wife and I are sorry to here of the loss of such a wonderful teacher. I had the pleasure of having her for 3 yrs (I didn't flunk), but was part of a program where she taught us for 5th, 6th, and 7th grades. She was very inspirational. On a "its a small world note", she grew up in the same house as my Grampa Joe Foral in Lena. I didn't know that until later years doing the family history. It was fond memories for all of us in Mountain.
Dear Bill, Dan, and Dave,
What a wonderful gift God gave us when He created Marilyn. She had a sense of humor and compassion that uplifted all around her. No matter what happened, talking to Marilyn always made it better. What a awesome quality in an educator. I believe that everyone she taught has become a better person, due to her nurturing manner. I remember when I began teaching at Mtn School, everyone was always talking about
"the muck farm". I really wanted to know what they were talking about - I knew I could ask Marilyn without feeling totally stupid. I asked her, "Who would farm muck?" She explained it, and then we both had a good laugh. She had a way of making everyone feel at home. She was the heart of Mountain School.
Mr. Seis, Dan and David,
Our deepest sympathy to your family. Mrs. Seis was a wonderful teacher and principle. I have wonderful memories of Mountain Elem School, and you both helped make that a wonderful school that lasted several generation. We hope it brings you comfort that she brought so much happiness to so many lives.
Mr. Seis and Family,
Thinking of you at this very sad time. Mrs. Seis was an incredible teacher and Principal. Her caring and kindness touched so many students' lives. She will be greatly missed.

She always had a smile weither it was at school or church. she helped me through some very tough school days. and even was my first reference for jobs. Dear Bill, Dan,and Mary, our deepest sympathy Greg and I were happy that we had the chance to meet Marilyn this past summer at your cabin and to hear all the wonderful stories she shared with us. We are sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathy to your family. Mrs. Seis was my favorite teacher, and by far one of my favorite people in Mountain. She touched my life at such an important time, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grade ... and all the way up through adulthood! I'll be forever better for the investment she made in my life both at school and at church. Truely a lovely lady in every way.
Mr. Seis, Dan, and David - my condolences on the passing of Mrs. Seis. What an awesome lady she was. Truly a life well lived. I have so many great memories of you guys. I was fortunate to have you as neighbors in Mountain and your home was a great getaway for us. I might not have been a model student but the life lessons learned through your modeling have stuck with me. I spent some time on the phone with my brother Troy this morning talking about our time growing up there, and I can only imagine how many more of those conversations are going on now because of the the great impact of Mrs. Seis (and your's, Mr. Seis) on so many lives over the years. May God bless you.

Dear Mr. Seis and family, Many of my happiest years in grade school were when I had Mrs. Seis for my teacher. For many years, after grade school, Claudette Hunter and I used to go to visit her at her home. She always made us feel welcome. She was a blessing in my life and is in my thoughts and prayers. Gwen (Coleman) Tatera
Some of my fondest memories of grade school was when I finally made it to the 8th grade and I had this kind, caring teacher who believed in every student that walked through Mountain Grade School's doors. Marilyn truly let all of us shine, and for that I will be forever grateful... May she rest in peace, deepest sympathy to the Seis family.
We have lost a wonderful woman and an inspiring teacher. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.
I was pastor at Tabor in Mountain from 1990-1998. Marilyn crocheted the edging on a blanket that she gave to our Madelyn Clare when she was born. That blanket was her best friend for many, many years and helped her through two of her three open heart surgeries. What a warm wonderful woman of God. Thank you Bill for sharing her with us. Our prayers are with you and your family as you go through the days ahead.
Marilyn was a great teacher and friend to me growing up. Anyone who had her as a teacher was a better person for it. Mr. Seis, Dan and Dave you are in my thoughts as you deal with the loss of such a wonderful woman.
I will always remember Mrs Seis as loving caring principle and teacher who made learning fun. She will be greatly missed but forever will be remembered . May God the Father comfort her family and friends during this difficult time.
My very heartfelt sympathy to Bill and family. I only have good memories of 'Miss Brye' from my three years of having her as my favorite teacher. She was like a ray of sunshine and made each day at school fun, and I knew way back in fourth grade that I wanted to become a teacher. Miss Brye was that ONE teacher that made a difference in so many lives. Darlene (Elbe) Valentine
We would like to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends Marilyn Seis. Especially to Bill, a friend and teacher.
Tom and Erika send our condolences to Bill and the family on the passing of Marilyn. I never met her but talked to Marilyn on the phone once, and remember the pleasant conversation we had. Bill and I were stationed overseas many years ago for our US Army time, and we've kept in contact. May the Lord's peace and past happy memories carry you forward at this time.
Since I grew up without a mother, Mrs. Seis was almost like a motherly figure to me. She was always fair and I could always talk to her and confide in her. She was truly a very special person. May God Bless . Kathy Hughes-Lambrecht and Dan Lambrecht
A heartfelt thank you to the Seis family for allowing Mrs. Seis to touch so many lives as a teacher at Mountain grade School. It was wonderful to have her as by 6th, 7th and 8th grade teacher.
