Marjorie "Maggie" Martin, 60, of Clanton died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, Alabama.

She was born on Wednesday, June 16, 1954 in Antigo a daughter of Benjamin and Della (Zirkle) Ullman.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School.

She raised her family in Alabama and for several years managed a cattle farm in Jemison. In 1986 she married Donny Martin and moved to Clanton. Mrs. Martin attended Jefferson University in Alabama where she studied to become a licensed funeral director. She was a member of West End Baptist Church in Clanton.

She enjoyed making quilts for those suffering with cancer and their families.

Surviving are Husband, Donny Martin, Clanton, AL; two sons, Floyd (Angie) Glass, Jemison, AL, Jody (Carol) Martin, Jacksonville, Florida; a daughter, Jennifer (Philip) Burgess, Clanton, AL; 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren,
seven sisters, Frances Schuman, Polar, Susan Jacobs, Gleason, Betty Wright, Bryant, Mary Rose Minton, Waupaca, Bridget Berg, Aniwa, Edith Lariden, Reedsburg, Clara Jean Roseborough, Deerbrook; six brothers, Charles (Melda) Ullman, Deerbrook, Gust (Joyce) Ullman, Deerbrook, James (Carol) Ullman, Gleason, Julius Ullman, Deerbrook, Frank (Gai) Ullman, Antigo, Donald (Laurie) Ullman, Antigo; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Merwin in 1987, two brothers David Ullman in 1993 and Jerry Ullman in infancy.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Anderson officiating. Burial will take place in Forestview Cemetery, Town of Vilas. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
