Geneva Darlene Ruhnke, of Antigo, died Sunday, October 27, 2013 at KHTCR-Eastview in Antigo. She was 49 years old. She was born on February 9, 1964 in West Bend, a daughter of the late Arthur and Marcella (Lewis) Schallie. She married Kevin Ruhnke on June 18, 1985 in West Bend. The couple later divorced.

She was employed at Fay's Restaurant in West Bend before moving to Antigo. In 1989 she moved to Antigo and volunteered at LeRoyer Day Care while raising her daughter.

She had a strong faith; spending time reading her bible and praying for others. She had a collection of stuffed animals, enjoyed playing bingo, watching television games shows and sports entertainment wrestling.

Survivors include a daughter, Dana (Jon) Wojciechowski of Randolph; four grandchildren, Daniel, Evan, Alex and Destiny; a sister, Deana Schallie of Merrill; and a brother, Doug Schallie of Stevens Point.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Wolf officiating. Following the service burial will take place in Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
