Marvin Charles Baerenwald, age 86, of Elcho, WI died on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR. He was born on May 26, 1938 in Milwaukee, WI a son of Elmer and Burdella (Booth) Baerenwald.
He served in the United States Army.
For many years he was a dairy farmer in Clintonville, WI. After farming he used his skills as a truck driver and craftsman to build and remodel homes throughout Wisconsin.
Marvin enjoyed deer hunting with his friend, Ordelle. He also enjoyed fishing and morning meetings with the men from Upper Room Family Church in Elcho.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Baerenwald of Elcho; a daughter, Dawn Loy of Sun Prairie, WI; a son, Scott Baerenwald (Belinda Smith) of Bella Vista, AR; three grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mason Loy and Preston Baerenwald; a brother Gerald Baerenwald of Three Lakes, WI; two step-children, David Albertson of Middleton, WI and Kimberly (Glenn) Hameister of Berlin, WI; three step-grandchildren, Brianna (Tennie) Jacobson, Chelsea (Mike) Mangian and Gregory (fiancé Aracely Torres) Hameister; and a step-great-grandson, Cameron Mangian. Additional extended family are a step-grandchild, Dan (Angie) Smith; and three step-great-grandchildren, Mara, Finley and Shay.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Neff.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at the Upper Room Family Church in Elcho,WI. Visitation will take place at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
Military Honors will take place at the church following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
