Marge Pavek, of Antigo, was reunited with her husband Harvey on their 17th wedding anniversary, Friday, November 22, 2024. She was 80 years old. She was born on January 9, 1944 a daughter of Horace "Red" and Vera (Boyd) Tatro.
She married Joseph Pavek on June 1, 1963, they had four children, the couple later divorced. She married Harvey Mach on November 22, 2007, he preceded her in death on September 18, 2009.
Marge contributed to the service industry and was dedicated to the people she cared for. She was proud of her native heritage, was an accomplished bowler having traveled nationwide to compete, and enjoyed casino trips with her sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Jolynn (Mark Koprek) McKinnon of Green Bay and Jacquelyn (Gary) Smits of Antigo; two sons, Joseph (Julie) Pavek, III of Colorado Springs, CO and Jeffrey (Julie Schofield) Pavek of Montello; six grandchildren, Robert (Kaila Jerzyk) McKinnon of Chattanooga, TN, Sami (Matthew) Braun of Wausau, Jackson Smits of Minneapolis, MN, Jamie Pavek of Salinas, CA, Jessie Pavek of Salinas, CA, Jonah Pavek of Madison; a great-grandchild, Audreya Marjorie McKinnon; three step-daughters, Lana (David) Gray of Antigo, Lisa (Jerry) Ourada of Broomfield, CO, and Lynn (Gary) Verhasselt of Antigo; a step-son, Thomas (Karen) Mach of Antigo; two sisters, Gina (Jim) Pavek of Crandon and Vicki (Mel) Yarie of Antigo; four brothers, Timothy (Gail) Tatro, Randy (Elaine) Tatro, Anthony Tatro, and Dennis (Ellen Schielke) Tatro all of Antigo; and many cherished nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, Stacy (Michael) Beck, Kristin (Brenton McMyler) Ramthun, Amanda Orne, Jordan (Sarah) Mach, Jeff (Arine) Mach, Jr., Jennifer (Michael) Sojourner, Ryan (Sreymom) Ourada, and Shannon Ourada; step-great-grandchildren, Simon, Lindsey, Sullivan, Harper, Henry, Rhett, Ada, Ryver, Willow, Mach twins on the way, Josie, Charlie, Briggs and Quinn; and three sisters-in-law, Jane McMahon, Judy Kegler and Mary Ann Wild all of Antigo.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marge was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Lawrence Frechette; three brothers, Theodore Tatro, Rodney Tatro and Michael Tatro; step-son, Jeffrey Mach, Sr. and her four-legged son, Riley James. She was also preceded in death by Pavek and Mach in-laws, two nephews and a niece.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6 at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with the Very Reverend Joel Sember officiating. Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
