James Zelazoski, of Antigo, died on September 29, 2024 at Rosalia Gardens under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. He was 79 years old. He was born on October 30, 1944 in Antigo, a son of the late Clarence and Elsie (Russ) Zelazoski. He married Mary Schleinz on February 20, 1965 at St. John Catholic Church in Antigo. She preceded him in death on Sunday, September 7, 2014.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1962.
Jim was the co-owner of Zelazoski Wood Products, Inc. and a member of St. John Catholic Church.
He played football in high school and was also an avid hunter. After marriage, all his interests were devoted to work and family.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Zelazoski of Madison; two sons, Mark (Kaori) Zelazoski of Japan and Gary (Pam) Zelazoski of Texas; five grandchildren, Sena, Keenan, Kaleb, Kendal, and Makayla; a sister, Susan (Michael) Werdeo of Antigo; three brothers, William (Donna) Zelazoski of Green Bay, Benjamin (Carrie) Zelazoski of Antigo, and Charles (Rita) Zelazoski of Antigo; and a sister-in-law, Jayne Zelazoski of Antigo.
In addition to his wife and parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Zelazoski.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8 at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Deacon Pete Schlegel officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
