Stacie Jean Shestak, age 61, of Bryant, died on May 29, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on November 14, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Biderman) Shestak.
Stacie was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1981, she continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Madison. While she was in Madison she studied Art and worked in retail.
She returned to Antigo to work on the family dairy farm where she did the bookkeeping and animal care. Her cats and dogs were her children. Stacie will be remembered for her cooking and cake decorating. She was an artist who created many beautiful paintings that are treasured by her family.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy of Antigo; three brothers, Edward (Chris) Shestak of Albuquerque, NM, Kenneth (Carrie) Shestak of Neva, and Andrew (Deana) Shestak of Bryant; five sisters, Kathryn (Dan) Waldvogel of Hugo, MN, Deborah (Greg) Heberlein of Plymouth, Karen Shestak (Nick Tiedemann) of Antigo, Patricia (David) Kowalkowski of Armstrong Creek, and Mary (Dan) Cockrell of Port Saint Lucie, FL. She was a very special aunt to all her nieces and nephews and known as Auntie Grandma Stacie, to her nephew, Ian (Jordan) and their children, Atlas and August.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman; two brothers, Raymond and Richard; and a sister in infancy.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I'm so very, very sorry to hear about Stacie's passing. It truly breaks my heart. I didn't know her very well, but what I do know is that Stacie was a very kind, talented, and loving person. Stacey and I were born on the same day same year and our parents passed each other on the way to the hospital. She was such a kind spirit.
Stacie we’ve had a lot of laughs throughout the years. You always had great Halloween costumes for the parties. You made the best beef stroganoff. You’ll be missed my friend. Fly high with your wings!
