Stacie Jean Shestak, age 61, of Bryant, died on May 29, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on November 14, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Biderman) Shestak.

Stacie was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1981, she continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Madison. While she was in Madison she studied Art and worked in retail.

She returned to Antigo to work on the family dairy farm where she did the bookkeeping and animal care. Her cats and dogs were her children. Stacie will be remembered for her cooking and cake decorating. She was an artist who created many beautiful paintings that are treasured by her family.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy of Antigo; three brothers, Edward (Chris) Shestak of Albuquerque, NM, Kenneth (Carrie) Shestak of Neva, and Andrew (Deana) Shestak of Bryant; five sisters, Kathryn (Dan) Waldvogel of Hugo, MN, Deborah (Greg) Heberlein of Plymouth, Karen Shestak (Nick Tiedemann) of Antigo, Patricia (David) Kowalkowski of Armstrong Creek, and Mary (Dan) Cockrell of Port Saint Lucie, FL. She was a very special aunt to all her nieces and nephews and known as Auntie Grandma Stacie, to her nephew, Ian (Jordan) and their children, Atlas and August.

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman; two brothers, Raymond and Richard; and a sister in infancy.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
