Theodore J. "Ted" Tatro, of Antigo, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 71 years old. He was born on September 27, 1952, in Antigo, a son of Horace "Red" and Vera (Boyd) Tatro.
Mr. Tatro was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps from July 23, 1970 to February 8, 1973.
Ted was an iron worker for the railroad and worked in the logging industry for many years. He was a jack of all trades.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, restoring old vehicles, and music. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewer fan.
Survivors include three children, Michael Tatro of Baker City, OR, Matthew Tatro of West Richland, WA, and Michelle Tatro of West Richland, WA; seven grandchildren, Sariah, Mya, Elijah, Isaac, Abrahm, Leo, and Hailah; three sisters, Virginia (James) Pavek, Victoria (Mel) Yarie, and Marjorie Mach; four brothers, Timothy (Gail) Tatro, Randy (Elaine) Tatro, Anthony Tatro, and Dennis Tatro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Frechette; and two brothers, Rodney Tatro and Michael Tatro.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 12 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Followed by a graveside service and Military Honors at the Elmwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, May 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to the time of service.
