Duane "Brownie" Brown, of Antigo, died on March 11, 2024 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 64 years old. He was born on December 4, 1959 in Antigo, a son of the late Ray and Germaine (Brandt) Brown.
Duane drove for Karl's Transport for over 35 years.
He enjoyed motorcycling, UTVing, snowmobiling and spending time with friends.
Survivors include cousin, Kelley (Jerome) Steger of Antigo; other cousins; and many friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Brown; and two brothers, James and Robert.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15 at the Bradley Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held at 4 p.m. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Elmwood Cemetery in Antigo.

Duane was my kindergarten classmate at Peace Lutheran School. I have many fond memories of him; the highlight was our Florida spring break in 1978. I will miss his every-ready smile and those Brownie bear hugs. Matt Erlandson
