Duane C. Kramer, of Bass Lake, died Friday, December 22, 2023, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 76 years old. He was born on August 9, 1947, in Fond du Lac, a son of Charles and Ethel (Milner) Kramer. He married Leslie Feil on November 16, 1973 in Atlanta, Georgia.
He graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, class of 1964. He served in the United States Merchant Marines.
Duane spent 27 years living in Alaska working for North Slope Oil Pipeline.
Survivors include his wife, Leslie Kramer of Bass Lake; a sister, Diane Finstad of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Jenelle Feil of Wausau; four nephews, Fred (friend, Angie) Finstad, Dan (Tanya) Finstad, Christopher B. Nuzum, and Michael J. Nuzum; three nieces, Keshia (Alex) Finstad Porter, Kylie Finstad, and Alexa Feil Geiger; four great-nephews, Dylan, Douglas and Joseph Finstad, and Weston Geiger; and a great-niece, Rex Marie Geiger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen (Louis) Britten; brothers-in-law, Paul Bertuleit, Michael Finstad, and Rex Feil; sister-in-law, Vivienne Feil Nuzum; and nephews, Ted Finstad and Michael Britten.
