Gerald E. Hull, of White Lake, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at his residence. He was 53 years old. He was born on February 3, 1970, in Rockford, Illinois a son of Gerald William Hull and Tammy McNalley.
He served in the United States Army and fought in Operation Just Cause in Panama as an infantry scout. Gerald was honorably discharged in 1992 and was eventually medically retired.
Gerald's hobbies included weight lifting and running. He participated and won in many 1,000 Man Races. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Gerald was a devout Christian, had a corny sense of humor, was very giving and helped others.
Survivors include his special friends, mentors and legal guardians, Harold "Mick" and Linda West; a daughter, Sarah Hull of White Lake; two sons, Jonathan Hull of Chippewa Falls and Jeremiah Hull of Milwaukee; two brothers, John Hull of Fairbanks, Alaska and Terry Olsen of Antigo; and three grandchildren, Jasper and Josh Pranke and Finley Kemp.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Hull; uncle, Ron Hull; and paternal grandmother, Rita Remington.
Burial will take place on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2 p.m. in Northwoods National Cemetery, Harshaw with military honors.
