Leanne M. Schacher, of Antigo, died on March 9, 2023 at Rosalia Gardens. She was 82 years old. She was born on March 12, 1940 in Antigo, a daughter of Benjamin and Selma (Hubbard) Schacher.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1958. Leanne was employed at Fidelity Bank (Chase) in Antigo until her retirement.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering at church and singing in the choir.

Leanne loved to garden, go out for coffee with the girls, and participate in the Antigo Community Theater.

Survivors include a brother, Eugene (Joanne) Schacher of Bowie, Maryland; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Joan (Kortland) Koutnik and Valeria (James) Rozga; and brothers, Frank and Donald (Clara Jean).

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church in Hoffmann Hall from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
