Larry A. Hartman, of Antigo, died on February 8, 2023 at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. He was 83 years old. He was born on September 2, 1939, in Antigo, a son of Walter and Mary (Barath) Hartman. He married Trudy (Dallmeyer) Igl on July 25, 2008, in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
He was a graduate of Antigo High School, class of 1958.
Mr. Hartman served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965 having been stationed in Germany.
Larry was employed at American Motors and then Chrysler in Kenosha from 1960 to 1990. Following his retirement, he returned to Antigo.
He enjoyed antique tractors and his Chevy truck.
Survivors include his wife, Trudy; two step-daughters, Lisa (Paul) Valentine of Hadley, Mass and Michelle (Craig) Bell of Birnamwood; a step-son, Jeremy Igl of Antigo; three grandchildren, Caitlynn (Daniel) Majewski of Aurora, CO, Madelynn Bell of Birnamwood, and Jaquelynn Bell of Birnamwood; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Ophelia; a brother, Michael (Theresa) Hartman of Antigo; brother-in-law, Larry Noskowiak of Antigo; and nieces and nephews, Todd Hartman, John Hartman, Dawn Lis, Susie Wolfe, Doug Noskowiak, Jeremy, Noskowiak and Tom Noskowiak.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Maryann Noskowiak.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
Military honors will take place at the church immediately following the Mass.
