Marvin E. Wendt, of Antigo, died Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 95. He was born on November 23, 1926, in the Town of Norwood, a son of the late William and Frieda (Helmig) Wendt.

Marvin enjoyed his time at the Langlade County Health Department where he had good friends and counselors. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed the Community Bible Class.

He enjoyed crafts, jigsaw puzzles, and socializing.

Survivors include two sisters, Eleanor Dahlke of Antigo and Jane Dreiske of Palm Springs, California; two sisters-in-law, Lois Wendt of Kaukauna and Gerri Wendt of Sturgeon Bay; friend and fishing buddy, Tom Cernoch and friend, Scott Hoffman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Violet Viitanen and Doris (Martin) Vollmer; three brothers, Wilburn "Bud" Wendt, Donald Wendt, and Eugene (Judy) Wendt; and a brother-in-law, Arthur Dahlke.

A private funeral service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo.
