Dolores Mildred Curley, of Wittenberg, died Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Homme Home for the Aging in Wittenberg. She was 88 years old. She was born on October 13, 1933, in Lancaster, Wisconsin a daughter of Hubert and Flossie (Davies) Flesch. She married Joseph Curley on August 7, 1956, at Lancaster. He preceded her in death on October 12, 2012.
She was a graduate of Lancaster High School. Dolores worked as a cashier for Krogers Grocery Store in Lancaster for 5 years until 1956. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Antigo.
Dolores enjoyed bingo, knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane (Steve) Menting of Antigo, Karen Lutgerding of California, Nancy Hangartner of Green Bay, and Deb (Daniel) Bordeau of Antigo; two sons, Dennis Curley of Edmond, Oklahoma and Michael (Helen) Curley of Clarion, Iowa;
nine grandchildren, Marcie (Mike) Gottschalk, Ian Curley, Sydney (Michael) Harrison, Elizabeth (Andrew) Hinds, Theresa (Christian) Gonzalez, Steven (Suzanna) Curley, Nicole (Matt) Orlando, Christopher Hangartner, and Jeremy (Ciarra) Fischer; seven great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Melaina and Trip Gottschalk, Grayson, Kinley, and Kashton Fischer, and Jesse Hinds; a brother, Larry (Carol) Flesch of Oregon, Illinois; and a sister-in-law, Ruth (Laverne) Slater of Lancaster.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by step-father, Ralph Hoffmann; two grandchildren, Andrew and Allison Menting; two brothers, Thomas Flesch and Gerald Flesch; and a son-in-law, Bob Lutgerding.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 12 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Entombment will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home.
