David M. Scolley, of Deerbrook, died Saturday, April 16, 2022, at home. He was 82 years old. He was born on May 30, 1939, in Clinton County, Indiana a son of Elwin and Cora (Robbin) Scolley. He married Erma (Tomlin) Rustick on October 17, 1994, in Tomahawk.

David worked at Northern Wire in Merrill for 31 years and at Spychalla Farms for 12 years.

He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Elcho.

David enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and jigsaw puzzles. He will be remembered for his kindness.

Survivors include his wife, Erma Rustick Scolley; a brother, Charles Scolley; sisters, Ruth Sosnovske and Georgia Black; three step-daughters, Virginia (Brian) Ewert, Cindy (Dee) Nitecki, and Sally (Allen) Bargenquest; six grandchildren, April (Cliff) Kwick, Katrina (Tom) McKinnell, Randy Nitecki, Nickole (Ken) Rohe, Sammy (Dan) Marshall, Al Bargenquest, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Tom and Karl; three sisters, Waneta Morris, Gladys Sanders and Evelyn Young.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Elcho with Rev. Paul Radke officiating. Visitation will be Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service. Burial will take place at Kempster Lakeside Cemetery at a later date.
