Thank you, Susie for posting this photo of you, Marilyn and Deanna - the old gang. I remember Marilyn from H.S. as the gal who always had a smile, always upbeat with a ready laugh. I know she will be greatly missed by everyone. She was easy to love, wasn't she? Blessings on the Family.
I knew Marilyn in HS. Then, and at all our reunions, she was always happy and fun to be with. The last time I saw her I had inexpicably stopped coloring my hair and let it go naturally grey. Marilyn constantly chided me about how old it made me look and that I better start coloring it again. She was absolutely right! (See photo from that 2004 reunion.)I think I tried every colorist on the East Coast until I found the right one. Now I maintain monthly appointments and often think of Marilyn on my way there.
I wish distance hadn't precluded our continuing closeness. I will miss her.
I knew your mother in high school.
She was a genuine friend to many of our class.
She was, sweet, kind and always fun to be with.
The world lost a fine lady.
But, I know she is in a much better place with many rewards for all her kindness and love given to family and friends.
My sympathies to you, her family.
Bonnie (Holloway) Petersdorf
Marilyn was my maid of honor when I married Jim Meyn. As we grew up we had a special friendship, it is sad that time separates. I will always have loving memories of Marilyn and the fun we had.
Marilyn,
We love you and do miss you.
Reg, Travis, and Derek
I just found out today that one of the best ladies in the world has passed away. Marilyn not only did my hair, but was a friend. She was there for me when my mother passed away, and we knew each other over 20 years. I feel like I know you three very well, as Marilyn always talked so proudly of her family. May God Bless you all, and know that Marilyn is with God and the angels, because she was an angel herself. So sorry, Sue, Rod, and Tabitha Tatro
Travis,
I am so sorry about your mother, as you know I can sadly relate. Life just does not make sense sometimes. Cherish the memories and laughs, that will help you through all of this. Huge hugs for you and your family. I am sorry I was not able to attend the services and give you a hug in person. I am so sad for you and know you are in my thoughts. God Bless
Love you
Jules
