Donna Jester, of Weston, died Friday, February 11, 2022, at Renaissance Assisting Living. She was 86 years old. She was born on March 18, 1935, in Winona, Minnesota a daughter of Wilber "Dale" and Mable (Hubert) Shaffer. She married Wayne Jester on November 23, 1963 in Waukesha, he preceded her in death on May 9, 2012.

She was a graduate of Tomah High School, class of 1953. Donna was a product inspector at Amron in Waukesha, she moved to Antigo and was a receptionist at Amron in Antigo. She owned Change of Pace Bar South of Antigo from 1977 to 1980. She moved back to Milwaukee and was employed at Bell Tone as a hearing aid specialist and also at Fleet Mortgage. She returned to Antigo in 2002.

Donna was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and trips to the casino.

Survivors include a son, John (Terri) Jester of Elcho; two grandchildren, Christopher (Brooke) Jester of Little Chute and Brandon (Alysha) Jester of Douglasville, Georgia; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Shaffer-Gray of Waukesha. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Gene; and a sister, Sandra.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church with Reverend Neal Behm officiating. Burial will take place in Kempster Lakeside Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
