Paul F. Wurtinger, age 78, of Antigo, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at home under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was born on February 10, 1943, in Port Washington, a son of the late Edward and Marian (Kloida) Wurtinger. He married Beverly Wildman on March 13, 1965, at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo.

Paul graduated from Antigo High School in 1961. He was employed at the Vulcan Corp in Antigo for 25 years retiring in 2008. He enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; two sons, Chris (Julie) Wurtinger of Rhinelander and Andrew Paul (Sally) Wurtinger of New Richmond; two grandsons, Jacob and Colton (fiancé Sabrina) Wurtinger; a sister, Cleo Adkins of Antigo; two brothers, Edward (Darlene) Wurtinger Jr. and Ray (Gloria) Wurtinger both of Antigo; other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Wilton; brother, Gary Wurtinger; half brother, John Somer; brother-in-law, Lawrence Adkins; and sister-in-law, Elaine Wurtinger.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, January 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Vickie and the Vets, 1216 Elm Street, Antigo.
